Island Restaurant Buffet style restaurant with a wide range of traditional favourites to help make you feel at home. Oasis Restaurant In our a la carte restaurant the waiters will spoil you with the chef’s delicious dishes and extensive wine list. Beachcomber Always open, this 24-hour restaurant offers both inside and outside dining, along with various themed evenings. Beachcomber The Grill Grab a burger, hotdog or chips, sit out and enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine! Steak House If you like steak then you’ll love it in here! The place to grab a juicy steak or fresh fish in stylish surroundings. What can the kids eat? Children can enjoy any of the food in any of the restaurants on board our ships. The ships offer a wide variety of hot and cold food in the various restaurants, but to ensure there will always be something that the kids will eat we offer a kids menu in all of our restaurants. Food allergies and special diets Whilst on board we want you to relax and enjoy your holiday. Therefore if you have any special dietary needs make sure you speak to the Restaurant Manager once on board who will make every effort to meet your personal requirements. Entertainment Jongleurs - comedy at it's best! With 16 clubs across the UK, Jongleurs is the UK's number one comedy brand, and is the largest chain of comedy clubs in the world. At Island Cruises we want our guests to enjoy the best - so we welcome Jongleurs on board the Island Star in Summer 2008! Each week, three comedians drawn from the best talent pool in the business will be taking up residency in the Bounty Club to entertain you to a night of the finest comedy around. And, even better, for one night only, Jongleurs will take over the Ocean Theatre for a truly memorable comedy performance. Bounty Lounge/Club The Bounty Lounge on board the Island Escape and the Bounty Club on board the Island Star are also there to entertain you. Here you'll find classic gameshows like Mr and Mrs, Play Your Cards Right and Blankety Blank, quizzes and bingo. And later into the evening caberet, comedy or music. Live Music Our resident bands and musicians will play all your old favourites, along with popular hits in bars and lounges around our ships. Bars Join friends for a social pint in the pub and dance along with our resident musicians. Enjoy an exotic cocktail in the Sailaway Bar or head to the late night venue to dance the night away. Excursions Island Cruises offers a range of shore excursions, so you can make the most of every minute. Use our rating's to help you decide if the excursion is right for you. Your shore excursion tickets will be delivered to your cabin with 24 hours of getting on board. Is the shore excursion right for you? If you are unsure of the amount of walking involved or whether you can bring a wheelchair on a tour, our activity ratings shown below will let you know what you can expect from the shore excursions. For more information, please check with the Shore Excursions team onboard your ship. For a range of great value, family-friendly shore excursions, keep an eye out for the family friendly logo. Child prices are available for children under the age of 12. Shore excursion ratings Suitable for most passengers You will walk only short distances over relatively even surfaces with few stairs to climb. Some of these tours will be accessible for wheelchairs. Passengers in wheelchairs must be able to walk a few steps to negotiate their way on and off transportation, as wheelchair lifts are extremely limited. Moderate walking involved and possibly some steps These tours are fairly active and will involve some walking over uneven surfaces and climbing staircases. Not suitable for passengers with walking difficulties/wheelchairs These tours are very active and may involve walking long distances, climbing steep inclines or many stairs. What's included in your shore excursion? Our half day tours range from approx. £20 - £35 and full day tours from £40 - £60. Included in the price are: Travel between the ship and your destination. Admission to certain places of interest where st ated in the excursion pages. Lunch, if included, will be a light meal in a restaurant. What to take with you: Comfortable walking shoes A bottle of water Sun hats, sun lotion and a camera Remember to dress respectfully when visiting religious places |
