Airtours Sun Cruises has earned something of a reputation for making holiday travel affordable. Probably the best example of this was its approach to cruising when it bought its first cruise ship, Seawing, in 1995 and launched a trail-blazing new trend for good value cruise holidays.

Airtours, which sails under the branding Sun Cruises, may be a relative newcomer to the world of cruising but it now has four ships, the latest - Sunbird - joining the fleet in May, 1999, to launch the cruise line into the four star market. The former Song of America joined Sundream, Seawing and Carousel in the Mediterranean.

All four ships have undergone complete refits and operate fly-cruise itineraries and cruise and stay options in both the Caribbean and Med. And with recently forged links with Carnival, Airtours is exploiting its world-leading status in the cruise market with a unique year-round Cruise Directory which offers access to the largest passenger fleet in the world.
