Singles Cruises

Passengers affiliated with singles groups are often from different parts of the country, giving people with similar interests the opportunity to meet in person as they get to know one another. Most singles vacations do not specify strict age limitations, though only guests 18 or 21 years and older may usually register, depending on the parent organization and the guidelines specified by the cruise line.

Family Cruises

On a modern cruise ship extensive facilities and centres are there for the children so if you fancy a break from parenting you can be asssured the kids are well looked after. On the latest generation of giant cruise ships, youngsters get their own dedicated play areas and even their own exclusive pools, as well as age-related activities ranging from face painting and quizzes to treasure hunts and talent shows.

The QE2 is the only ship which also caters for four-legged babies on her transatlantic runs; she has a kennel on board and even a lamp post to make dogs feel at home!

River Cruises

Most river ships only host between 100 and 200 guests. The ships are often narrow to help them navigate slender, shallow waterways, and they are not usually equipped with stabilizers – something that passengers prone to seasickness should take note of, since the ship may need to cross turbulent waters or rough weather could make the voyage less peaceful than anticipated.

Golf Cruises

Whether your cruise starts at Knockninny on the Erne, Carrick-on-Shannon or Banagher on the Shannon, you have the enviable position of mooring just yards from some of Ireland’s finest curvaceous greens and rolling fairways. Experience the laid back approach of the unspoilt waterways, sampling on route the breathtaking scenery, great golf and warm hospitality, a natural replenishing antidote to modern day stress.
